About Us

Casa Libre/Freedom House is an emergency and long-term shelter for minors without homes, including unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children.

The Casa Libre/Freedom House (Casa Libre) is operated by the Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law, Inc. (CHRCL, Inc.), a tax-exempt California non-profit corporation. This corporation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
